Each month Turner Classic Movies Writer Hannah Jack curates a classic title for our big screen. For her first pick of 2026 she chose the iconic Charlie Chaplin film CITY LIGHTS! After the Little Tramp falls in love with a blind flower girl, he sets off to raise the money to restore her sight. The film seamlessly blends comedy and pathos in this bittersweet silent film from one of cinema’s greatest artists.
